Since its launch in April 2010, RIHA Journal has become a vibrant publishing platform for researchers and scholars from all over the world.
RIHA Journal is an international peer-reviewed Open Access journal featuring research articles in the history of art and visual culture. A joint project of 30 research institutes in 21 countries worldwide, it provides an excellent medium for fostering international scholarship.
We invite submissions of original research papers on any topic in the history of art and visual culture. Papers should be both well-argued and thought-provoking and offer substantial contributions to current research.
Preferred languages are English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. Other languages are accepted as well, depending on the capacities of the RIHA institutes.
Suitable manuscripts are usually published within 3 to 4 months from submission. Submissions are welcome any time.
