Prof. Agnieszka Zabłocka-Kos is an architect, art historian and monument conservator. She has earned her postdoctoral degree in 2006 and teaches courses in World, European, and Polish history of art and architecture in the 19th and 20th century. Her research focuses on politics and nationality, in particular in the context of Central Europe. She is the author of Sztuka, wiara uczucie. Alexis Langer śląski architekt neogotyku [ Art, Faith and Feeling. Alexis Langer Silesian Architect of the Gothic Revival] (1996) and Zrozumieć miasto. Centrum Wrocławia na drodze ku nowoczesnemu city 1807-1858 [ To understand the city. The Old Town of Wroclaw on the way to the modern city 1807-1858]. Presently she is working on a history of political architecture in the 19th century in Central Europe.
