Research advisor at the France Stele Institute of Art History, Ljubljana. She received PhD from Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, for her dissertation on 17th century visitation records of Ljubljana Diocese as a source for the history of art. Her research interests are early modern sacred art, iconography, art collecting and patronage and, above all, critical commented publishing of archival sources. She wrote several scientific monographs, among which: Vloga ljubljanskega škofa Tomaža Hrena v slovenski likovni umetnosti [The role of Ljubljana bishop Tomaž Hren in Slovene art] (1988), and Janez Gregor Dolničar: Zgodovina ljubljanske stolne cerkve / Historia Cathedralis Ecclesiae Labacensis, Labaci 1701–1714 (critical edition, 2003). Since founding in 1996, she has been a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal Acta historiae artis Slovenica.
