Cosmin Ungureanu is an art historian with an unwavering interest in architectural history and theory. After having studied at the National University of Fine Arts in Bucharest (the Faculty of Art History and Theory), he embarked himself on a PhD at the University of Architecture and Urbanism, Bucharest. His PhD studies are centered on an 18th century topic (ruin and nature in the Italian and French architectural theory). He published a number of articles, among which: "Roma Magna. În jurul unui tablou de Panini la Bucureşti" [Roma Magna. Around a Pannini's Painting in Bucharest], in Idei în dialog, No. 12 (51), Dec. 2008; "La bella machina del mondo. Andrea Palladio and the Harmonic Proportions", in Arhitext, XIII, May 2008.
