Karolina Jara is a doctoral candidate at the Institute of Art History at the University of Wroclaw. Her main field of research is architecture of the 19th and 20th century. She works on a dissertation about architecture and urban planning in Lower Silesia in the Third Reich under the tutorship of Associate Professor Agnieszka Zabłocka-Kos. She received her MA degree in Art History at the University of Wroclaw in 2013. Her master thesis was devoted to the New Synagogue in Wrocław (1865–1872) and its designer Edwin Oppler (1831–1880).
