Rosa Vives Piqué is an art historian and professor at Universitat de Barcelona (Spain), specialising in History and Theory of Engraving and Printing, and also teaches in the master's degree in Urban Design: Art, City, Society. She has published several studies on the history of fine prints and printmaking, covering Rembrandt, Piranesi, Goya and Picasso among others, and is the author of the catalogues raisonné of Mariano Fortuny Marsal and Mariano Fortuny Madrazo. She is a member of the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts de Sant Jordi (Royal Catalan Academy of Fine Arts).
